Rich Salz (click here for blog) is the Senior Security Architect of the SOA appliances group at IBM. He has been involved with the definition and implementation of standards for many years, with an emphasis on distributed computing and security.
He came to IBM through their acquisition of DataPower in November 2005. At DataPower he designed and led the implementation of the XS-40 XML security gateway.
