Ron is Professor of Information Science in the Research School of Informatics at Loughborough University.
Currently he is also President of the Institute of Measurement and Control which brings an opportunity to marry his work in health informatics with that in information engineering. Ron is actively involved in research and knowledge transfer in medicine and biology where he manages an interdisciplinary team stemming from academia, the UK National Health Service, SMEs and individual entrepreneurs.
